Microsoft Viva Insights: Recurring Time Booking for Breaks, Learning, and Message Catch Up

Microsoft Viva Insights is introducing new recurring time booking options to make it easier to take regular breaks during the workday, protect time to meet weekly learning objectives, and have daily time to catch up on emails and chats. These booking options will be accessible to the user through the Briefing email sent at the end of the week as well as through the Viva Insights app in Teams.The feature is only available to those with a Microsoft Viva Insights subscription.

Enable Q&A in Teams Meetings via Meeting Options

Teams meetings organizers can soon set up Q&A in their meetings via Meeting Options. Q&A is perfect for large or structured meetings – such as trainings, town hall, all hands and more.

Introducing Widget Notifications

Windows 11 is bringing you more live content on your taskbar. This change allows users to see live updates from other widgets such as sports, finance, and breaking news. Their taskbar should show the weather widget most of the time, but when something important happens related to one of their other widgets, they may see an announcement from that widget on their taskbar. At this time, Widget notifications cannot be turned off. 

Windows Non-Security Preview “C” Release Available for Windows 10, Version 1809

The August 2022 non-security preview release, referred to as our “C” release, is now available for Windows 10, version 1809. The preview update for Windows 11 and other supported versions of Windows 10 will be available in the near term. Information about the contents of this update is available from the release notes, which are accessible from the Windows 10 update history pages.
